The Norwalk church was chosen as the site since its minister, the Rev. Gabor Dokus, was one of the principle organizers of several congregations in New Jersey, New York, and even preaching stations in upper New England and Canada. A union service was held on September 15, 1996, in Trenton, New Jersey, where the organization took place. That afternoon a special Service of Celebration was held to observe the ministry of the Rev. Dr. Richard C. Diehl. The Southern Region met in Manville, NJ on Sunday, November 17, with open and frank discussion of common challenges, problems and solutions being shared. The Spring Meeting was held in Fairfield, CT on Sunday, April 20th of this year, the Rev. Bela Poznan, the Classis Secretary-Treasurer, was 55
