My mother was a striking and dignified woman, and her presence was always felt when she entered a room. She maintained this dignity until her death. She died peacefully at home on October 15, 1996, just 13 days before her 95th birthday. She is survived and greatly missed by her grandchildren Margaret, Ernest, and Marath; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; her devoted niece Magda Papp in Canada, nephew, Gedeon Bakk in Romania, together with their families, and many other persons in different places whose lives were influenced by her noble thoughts and deeds.
