Altough we are few in number, we are great in faith and determina­tion. We have kept to our annual agenda by continuing with the March banquet, the grape festival, cooking for the homeless, making sausage and, of course, csiga. The organizations within the church are still active and most importantly, share our financial success as always. We have been blessed with comparatively good health, fine physical facilities, financial security and willing hands to carry on all our obliga­tions within our church community in Dayton, Ohio. Kish; Auditors: Barney Katona and Julie Crouse; Sunday School Superintendent: Peggy Knesebeck; Youth Advisors: Jeanne Knesebeck and Amy Carney. Currently, our major undertaking is the construction of a new Sunday School facility annex and elevator to the existing church building. This will provide more space for the students and staff, make the church acces­sible for the handicapped, and expand the office for the pastor. The build­ing committee has been securing the necessary pledges, financing, and filing for permits before the actual work can begin. We hope to break ground by year’s end. At the start of this school year, we initiated a lunch program for the Public School children to eat their “brown-bag” lunch in our church par­lor. Some of our concerned church members on the PTO alerted us to the problem of the school system not having a lunch program of their own and asked for our involvement. Our Consistory was happy to oblige with a condition for yearly evaluations. At the same time, we continue to host the Breakfast Bunch program with the other churches of our community. Our Sunday School roll is approximately 46 students, plus 7 teachers, a pianist, and 5 teachers’ aides from the Youth Fellowship. This year a 95
