the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. ” (Philippians 2:6-8.)

He came to provide salvation totally free, and on our part undeserved, for all of us who repent and believe in Him. Yet over and above our salvation which we cannot earn, there is a special reward for us for every deed we have done in kindness, caring for those who could not help themselves.

So, our Servant Lord is calling you and me to be willing to commit ourselves to being servants — His servants.
