together with our partner, The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) we praised the Lord and more than 2000 of us uplifted by the testimony of Bishop Tutu of the Anglican Church of South Africa. This General Synod in St. Louis, Missouri also honored Pastor Szucs, by electing him to the class of 1999 of the Executive Council of the United Church of Christ.

During the year of 1994, The Presbyterian Church in the USA honored Pastor Szucs by asking him to preach the opening sermon for the meeting of the Presbytery of the Western Reserve, on February 28th, at a gathering which dealt with extremely sensitive and controversial issues of our faith. The dearly beloved friend and schoolmate of our Pastor, The Rt. Reverend Alexander Forro was elected to be the new Bishop of The Hungarian Reformed Church in America. He honored our Pastor to be a part of his ordination service in an unforgettable, uplifting worship service in New York City, on the 19th of November. The Rt.
