At the Gary, Grace Reformed Church, we are thankful for the seventy-eight years of continued blessings which have enabled us to serve God in the northwest corner of the state of Indiana. There is an awareness in our congregation that helping people in our congregation, our community and overseas is part of our mission. Approximately twelve percent of our total income this past year was spent on different projects; eg. Referral and Emergency Services Inc., helping unemployed families, and contributions to the Dr. Pakozdy Scholarship in Debrecen. The Ladies Aid and the Fellowship Circle are both great spiritual and financial support for the church. Together they also organized a fall Ladies Retreat for the sister churches and neighboring churches with forty-five participants. Thank to a group of men in our church, the church building is an excellent condition. We have a monthly Bible Study with a small but Faithful group.

We are grateful to God for the accomplishments and opportunities in the past year and we ask for His continued grace.

Amikor ezt a beszámolót írom, hivatalosan már nem vagyok a gyülekezet lelkipásztora, de lélekben és irántuk érzett kötelesség tudatban nem tudok eltávolodni ettől a gyülekezettől, hiszen majdnem 10 éven át pásztoroltam ezt a gyülekezetei és ők pedig a maguk módján védték a családomat és persze engemet is. Ez úton először hálát adok az Istennek ezekért az esztendőkért, amelyeket ott töltöttünk és a gyülekezetnek pedig szívből megköszönöm a türelmüket — egyben kívánom, hogy a jó Atya maradjon velük továbbra is.

Az 1991-es esztendő is békés csendes munkálkodással teli év volt. Különösebb kiemelkedő esemény azonban nem volt. A templom és a parókia körül történő munkákat minden esetben
