1990 holds opportunities for several plans; the 80th Anniversary of our congregation being one of them.The Valentine’s Day dinner held in honor of retiring members of council is another occasion, and our Youth Fellowship will be the host group. Naturally, there are the annual activities and functions which occur every year.

We are leaving our Youth Fellowship for last to complete this report in a positive manner. The Youth Fellowship continues to grow both in size and spirit. They have expanded their group to include children from the age of 10 through 18. To emphasize this, they elected parallel officers for both the Jr. and Sr. portion of the group. They are very active in church life by participating in the liturgy of various worship services and assisting in our fellowship dinners. They are eagerly and enthusiastically preparing for a planned trip to Hungary in 1991. Fund-raising and learning the Hungarian language are some of the ways in which they show their serious intention.

There are several ways of viewing our church life. We may worry about our problems and sit on our hands. Then again, we may pray and ask God’s help and look at the bright side of church life. This report attempted to do the latter. Our voluntees of all age groups, members and officers of our organizations and the congregation, the schools and youth cause us to look forward to 1990 with confidence and encouragement. If this attitude be rewarded with succes, we give the glory to God alone for the privilege. Soli Deo Gloria! To God alone be glory!

Egyházunknak, mint minden gyülekezetnek, megvannak a hálára késztető eredményei és gondjai. Az égető problémák egyházunk tagságának az elöregedésével merülnek fel: többen vannak az emberélet útjának felét átlépett testvérek, mint a fiatalok. Kevés vigasz, hogy ez a jelenség hazai, sőt világjelenség is. Az elöregedés egyik oka, hogy egyházunk indulásakor nem fektettünk súlyt az angolnyelvű istentisztelet bevezetésére, egyáltalán a vasárnapi iskola és a konfirmációi oktatás angolnyelvű gyakorlására, azzal a meggondolással, hogy a szétszórtságban
