92 BETHLEN NAPTÁR riuma, Férfiköre és az Amerikai Magyar Református Egyesület 52. számú Fiókja is hozzájárult. — Nyári magyar iskolánkban 16 személy vett részt. Júliusban az egyházi csoportok, majd az egyház rendezték meg üdítő piknikjeiket. — Augusztus hóban 5 ifjú vett részt az egyhetes egyházi nyári táborban. Mindezeken felül egyházi csoportjaink rendszeres tevékenységei: süteményvásárok, különböző előadások, műsorok, a rendszeres gyűlések állandó folyamata nagyban hozzájárul a keresztyén közösségi szellem ápolásához. A Krisztusért végzett egyházi munkákban és a békességes és szeretetteljes közösségi élet építésében az egyházi szervezetekben előljártak: Dudás Ferenc főgondnok, Napoleon Jósef gondnok, Závory Dávid pénztáros, Virgulák Ernő jegyző, Klein György ellenőr, Klein Györgyné és Lovas Pálné vasárnapi iskolai igazgatók, Kenéz Ernő a Vasárnapi Iskola jegyző-pénztárosa, Downing Edwinné a Nőszövetség elnöke, a Nőegylet vezetője Kováts Sárika jegyző, az Idősebb és Ifjabb Ifjúsági Csoportok elnökei: Szabó Sally és Závory József. A Felnőtt Énekkar vezetője: Lucskay József egyházunk orgonistája. A Vasárnapi Iskola gyermek énekkarát Leczó Istvánná tanítja. A Magyar Bizottság elnöke Iványi Andrásné, az AMRE helyi osztályának elnöke Virgulák Ernő. Az egyház és környéke rendbentartója: Chesnik Ferenc. SUMMARY REPORT A successful Gala Dance with raffle; Youth Sunday; Hungarian Har.est Dance; Laity Sunday; Annual Bazaar; Church Groups’ Christmas Parties; Candlelight Service with the participation of the Sunday School, Choir and Youth on Christmas Eve were the outstanding events and activities in our church during the last 4 months of the year of 1982. The Congregation’s Installation Dinner in the honor of the newly elected Church leaders; the Lenten Mid-Week Family Nights with Passion Dramas presented by our Youth and films; the United Church Women’s World Day of Prayer at our church; being hosts to Eastern Classis’ Palm Sunday Conference; the March 15th Patriotic Celebrations; the Women Guild’s Spring Buffet Dinner; our Church’s 90th Anniversary Celebrations; the Mother’s Day Tea Party by the Womens Guild and their June 5 Attic Bridal Show; the Father’s Day Dinner by the Women’s Guild; the Hungarian Plaque’s dedication on Heritage Wall by the Mayor; our Summer Vacation Bible School and Hungarian .school; Church Groups’ Summer Picnics marked the Church’s dedication and zeal in the first 8 months of the year of 1983. WALLINGFORD, CT Lelkipásztor: Dr. Medyesy László Chief Elder: Larry Prescott. The Congregation has 124 members in good and regular standing, total affiliation 164. The Consistory has 14 members, the Sunday School with 52. youth group 6 and 2 choirs with 55 members. There were 11 baptisms. 4 confirmed, 9 marriages, 9 adult confirmations and 4 funerals.
