On the surface our Church has a life that makes use of every day of the week. At the heart of our activity is our worship which includes Hungarian and English services on Sunday, mid-week services during Advent and Lent, and special services marking other religious and secular holidays. Our Christian Education program involves 125 young people in church school, Youth fellowship and Magyar dancing. Athletics, embroidery, the making of kolbász, tészta and fánk, choir, Lorántffy Nőegylet Couples, Club, Parents Anonymous, Sr. Citizen activities and community meetings are all part of the busy church schedule. We are a growing church with around 425 members currently active. But there is a second, much more personal level on which our story is told. This part of the story tells about a young couple whose baby becomes ill suddenly. They are nervous and afraid. The story tells about their friends from church who are there with them, reassuring them, until the fever breaks and things begin returning to normal. Another part of this story tells of a family overcome by grief at the loss of a loved one. The story tells of friends from church standing by, trying to help in any way they can. The story tells of groups of men and women who for years have served each other, using the unique skills God has given them.
