1983 119 magyar közösségi szolgálatból, rendezvényből derekasan kivesszük a részünkkel. Arany János halálának századik évfordulójáról feledhetetlen templomi ünnep keretében emlékeztünk október 22-én. Adományunkat küldtük a Ligonier-i, Akron-i Öregotthonok javára és a Károli Gáspár lelkésznevelő intézet számára. Lelkipásztor a Tóparti egyházmegye esperese. COLUMBUS, OH Lelkipásztor: Nagy István Chief Elder: Mr. Alex J. Mészáros, Sr. Once again we are proud to report that the past year has had positive gain. Our membership has increased, church participation has been the best ever, and the once-said dying church in Columbus has come to life again. One of the most important events that has happened is the purchase of 6.5 acres of land for the future. With God’s help and guidance, we will go forth into the future and build buildings to the Glory of God. The membership at this time is 270. We had 107 worship services with better than 67 percent of the total membership attending. The Sunday School is also growing, and for this reason, we have changed the worship times to: Hungarian Service at 9:30 AM, Sunday School at The building of this monument to hold the Bronze Plaque which was unveiled on October 25, 1981 — In Memóriám of those who died for Freedom and Human Rights in Hungary October 23, 1956 — was done through the efforts of the Hungarian Reformed United Church of Christ’s Hungarian Cultural Association
