230 BETHLEN NAPTÁR NT. SZOBOSZLAY LÁSZLÓ 1901 — 1981 Nt. Szoboszlay László 1901 szeptember 5-én született Magyarorszá­gon. 1981 október 4-én halt meg Morgantown, W. Virginiában, és ott is temették el október 8-án. Nt. Szoboszlay László teológiai tanulmányait Debrecenben végezte. Tábori lelkész volt és a tüzérségnél szolgált. Gyermekét a háborúban, feleségét rákban veszítette el. 1956-ban jött Amerikába. Szolgált: Wind­sor, Ontarióban, Logan, W. Virginiában és Morgantown, W. Virginiában. Professzor Dr. Dózsa László volt segítségére mikor már idős és beteg volt. SÁNDOR CSIK 1919 — 1981 Our beloved brother Sándor Csik was born in Fairfiel, Connecticut on July 25, 1919. — Taken back to Hungary at the age of 3 and then returning to Norwalk, in 1937. — Became an active member of this church. He was a member of the Choir, a member of the Consistory being the Secretary; Chairman of the Social and Membership Committees; the dis­cussion leader of the Hungarian Group at the first Palm Sunday Con­ference at Fairfield and he also faithfully attended all of our Palm Sunday Conferences; a member of the Brotherhood and Vice President; a member of the Hungarian Committee; he was the starter and organizer of the Hungarian Program of WNLK; a member of the Scholarship Committee of Brigeport University; a member of the Hungarian Federation of America; he served as a paratrooper in the Armed Forces in World War H; was a Second Lieutenant of the Connecticut National Guard; Vice President and President of the Hungarian Presbyters’ Conference; a District Mana­ger of the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America. He was a man drawn to Christ whose love set ablaze his life. What did he aim at achieving by his earthly life? He became a witness, a candle of the Lord. He died April 4, 1981. Rev. Zoltán Szabó So.
