Dr. Kocsis Istvánék Gardenland Nursery-jétől nagy mennyiségben bokrot és fát kaptunk ajándékba, míg Fehér Márta új szőnyeget adományozott az egyháznak.Sykes John és Mártha ajándékaként egy új Kawai hangvereny-zongorát kaptunk. Istennek adunk hálát ezekért az adományokért, és azért a sok lelkes és hűséges testvérért, akik megajánlásaikkal és munkájukkal hétről-hétre lehetővé teszik, hogy mindenki otthon érezhesse magát nálunk.

1980-ban az évi bevétel $56,246 volt, ebből adakozás $30,983 (55%), rendezvényekből $16,380 (29%), lakbérekből $7,328 (13%), és vegyes bevétel $1,555 (3%). A kiadás $54,160 volt, ebből ingatlanra $22,789 (42%), lelkészi javadalmazásra $12,169 (22.5%) plusz parókia, misszióra $1,126 (2%), programra $8,269 (15.5%), és rendezvényekre $9,807 (18%). Az egyház évvégi pénzállománya $8,856. Adósságunk 1980 végén $39,333 volt.

Greetings to our Christian brothers and sisters of Hungarian descent. We feel akin to the Apostol Paul as we think of our sister Hungarian congregations in various parts of the world. It is in thanksgiving that we pray to the Lord, and it is with hope that we look toward the new year.

In Toledo, our American-Hungarian worship life and tradition are in parts being sustained and in other parts are being strengthened. The worship of God continues to be the most important activity at Calvin Church. Our Hungarian congregation, though not large, is steady, while our English congregation continues to grow is spirit and number. In addition to our Sunday and holiday worship we have added mid-week service during the Advent and Lenten season. The Senior and Junior Choirs, under the direction of Mr. Durand Porter and Mrs. Sheila Marciniak, and the new youth orchestra, under the direction of Ms. Jackie Vargo, contribute to our services. We are grateful for each chance we have to worship our Lord.

Under the new leadership of Mary and Robert Pigott, our Church School is again active in the lives of our young people. Bible Study, forums on important issues, a new 3 week vacation Bible School, Confirmation Camp and special study groups are all part of our Christian Education program. Miss Ethel Molnár chairs our Christian Ed. Committee.
