100 BETHLEN NAPTÁR this small congregation has donated $32,000.00 to the Anniversary Fund. So far this year we have had 7 funerals, three were members; 3 Baptism, and married 5 couples. Our church membership is 250; voting membership 178. The average Sunday attendance is about 69% of the total membership. The fourth celebration is the 25th anniversary of the October 23, 1956 Hungarian Revolt, by the Hungarian Cultural Association of our church. To mark the event, they had a bronze plaque placed into a brick monument, and dedicated it in honour of those who died for human rights in Hungary. The fifth celebration was the 60th Anniversary of the Lorántffy Zsuzsánna, president Mrs. Margaret Leonardo; vice president Mrs. Helen Ispánovics; secretary Mrs. Carrie Székely; treasurer Mrs. Elizabeth Rezes. During the course of this year of many celebrations, we have continued the beautification of the church and parsonage buildings. We are proud of the membership’s ability to work together for the Glory of God, Our goals for the past years speak for themselves. We have had a few disappointments: mostly the attitudes of the members are now good, we are not afraid to dream new dreams for now we know that if God is with us, who can be against us.
