The pastor of this small but fine congregation since December 1st, 1958 is approaching his 77th birthday. He thinks of going into full retirement during the year 1980. SHARON, PA. — Pastor: Spencer Van Gulick The Bethlehem Presbyterian Church of Sharon, Pennsylvania, formerly the Magyar Presbyterian Church, celebrated its 75th anniversary on Sep­tember 30, 1979. A special anniversary worship service was held at 4 o’clock, followed by a dinner at 5:30 P.M. Both were well attended by the members of the congregation, friends and guests from other congregations of the valley. The clergy participating in the service were Rev. Paul Kovács, former minister who now is administrator of the Bethlen Home in Ligonier, Pa., Rev. Marshall Berryhill, retired, who served the church as interim pastor for two years and resides in Greenville, Pa., Rev. Albert Dodds, retired Executive Presbyter of the Shenango Presbytery of the U.S. of America and Rev. Spencer van Gulick present pastor who was installed in October, 1978. Also taking part in the service was Active Elder, Mr. William Vargo. The Bethlehem Presbyterian Church of Sharon, Pennsylvania.
