Highlights in Hungarian Life…
BETHLEN NAPTÁR 247 All funds raised were sent to the Interchurch Aid and Service for Refugees in order to aid people in refugee camps in Europe. During the program the church’s chief elder gave a memorial plaque to Rev. Bryant, vice President of the World Council of Churches in Western Australia. It was made by a Hungarian sculptor, Andor Mészáros. Our congregation includes 17 active families, with about 20 families that take little part in our work. We regret that we have so little contact with our brethren scattered throughout the countryside. Distances are very great and we lack time and money. We now realize how much could have been done and how much more remains to be done. This congregation is very small. But it senses its responsibility and attempts to be a good steward with its meager talents. What it has as yet attained is not to its own glory. Soli Deo Gloria. DR. ANDREW DOMAHIDY Chief-Elder, Spiritual Leader Children’s Christmas Party in Brisbane, Australia.
