FRANCIS ÚJLAKI ........................................ 1930—still serving ACHIEVEMENTS It was the prime object of every superintendent throughout the past 35 years to provide a good, peaceful, clean, comfortable, Christian home for both children and old people. Each superintendent worked with this object in mind, serving untiringly and with loyalty to purpose. The same object prompted the Federation and our people to lend their generous support un­­stintingly. Steady growth and progress followed naturally in the wake of such devotion. The chapel and the schoolrooms were renovated, the steeple now housing the “Molnár Bell” was built. All roads were given a hard top. the farm buildings renovated, and new farm equipment purchased. The institution’s debt was reduced $156,441.59 in 11 years.
