BETHLEN NAPTÁR 229 The synodical commissions have done much work in informing the church youth of the special denominational program during the year. The Commission on Christian Action carried out the promotion of two projects (International Christian University in Japan and National Mission Church Building) which the Pittsburgh conference adopted. By the time of the Toledo meeting, the goal of $400 for the projects was almost met, and the conference again proposed another $400 project including the International Christian University and South American Student Scholarship. Two new officers were elected to the synodical cabinet at Toledo — Eleanor Komjati as president and Wilbur Stell as treasurer. Both are from Cleveland, O. Eleanor is a junior at Ohio University and plans to attend Lancaster Seminary to receive her M. A. in religious education. Wilbur is a middler at Lancaster Seminary. The vice-president and National Council delegate is Bobby Banyai of South Norwalk, Conn. Vilma Szabó of Pittsburgh is the secretary. August Molnár of Elmhurst, 111., was named president ex-officio at Toledo. The new chairman of the Commission on Christian Faith is William Nagy of Chicago and student at Eden Theological Seminary. The other commission chairmen are: Stephen Szabó, Action; and Ernest Miko, Fellowship. Both are students at Lancaster and from Passaic, N. J.
