OUR CHAPEL “Application for admittance to the Children’s Home shall be presented with the recommendation of a branch of the Federation and, as far as possible, with that of the officers of a church. Applications are to be mailed to the Superintendent of the Home. “The parent or guardian of the child whose application is presented shall cause the child to be examined by a physician in order that no contagious disease may be taken into the Home. The Children’s Home has the right to have the child examined by its own physician. “Into the Home for the Aged only persons over 60 years of age may be admitted; younger persons only in case they are permanently disabled, but do not require constant medical care; and if they have been members of the Federation for at least ten years, and if they have one thousand dollars of insurance. In special cases the Supreme Council will have to decide. Admission into the Home for the Aged shall be made upon the recommendation of a branch of the Federation and officers of a congregation, after a physical examination. Aged members of the Federation shall be considered first for admission. Applications are to be mailed to the Superintendent of the Home who shall present them to the next meeting of the Board of Managers.”
