Czigler made also the designs of the following buildings: Balatonfüred, bath house, 1889 [demolished in 1945); Balatonfüred, Archbishop's holiday home, 1892; Esztergom, Archbishop's Palace, 1892; Budapest, District V, Váci Street No. 25, 1898; the centre of Budapesti Hírlap, District VIII, Rökk Szilárd Street No. 4, 1902; County Hall of Görmör and Kis-Hont County, Rimaszombat (today: Rimavská Sobota, Slovakia, 1902; Hospital and asylum, Pécs, 1904; Budapest, District IX, Hőgyes Endre Street, Nos. 7-9, 1904. Other buildings built after designs by Győző Czigler include the Royal Hungarian Law Court (1904-1906) and those of the Public Elementary and Upper School for Girls (1896) in Fiume (today: Rijeka, Croatia). The state-sponsored constructions in this town were political priorities and the new buildings were expected to be as imposing as possible. Czigler's eclectic designs met these requirements. Győző Czigler died in 1905, at the age of 55 when he had been a lecturer at the Technical University for 19 years. Before the funeral his body lay in state in the foyer of the CH building of the university he had designed himself. His tomb is in Kerepesi cemetery, Budapest. Czigler wrote a large number of articles on technology. He was a founding member and the very first chairman of the Association of Hungarian Material Testers (1897), the vice-president of the Association of Applied Arts as well as architectural supervisor employed by the national superintendency of museums and libraries. Further on, he was a member of the Zagreb- and Belgrade-based associations of engineers and participated in the work of several technical comissions. SZÉCHENYI GYÓGYFÜRDŐ, BUDAPEST, XIV. After the death of Miklós Ybl, the architect was elected the chairman of the architectural department of the Association of Hungarian Engineers and Architects in 1891. Between 1894and 1900 he was the chairman of the Association of Hungarian Engineers and Architects, which later on conferred on him the title of an honorary member. Czigler also presided the cement committee of the Association of Engineers.
