3 The research performed by him in Princeton represents a distinct contribution to soil science and engineering. In all personal relationships, Dr. Kezdi has proven himself a perfect gentleman with warm human understanding. In short, I feel that the Department of Civil Engineering and especially its Soil Engineering Group has benefited greatly by Dr. Kezdi's presence.
