VI. Rezümé Summary The study informs us about the extremety of the winters temperatures and rains and defines these terms, as well as their time of occurance. After that, it has selected form the letters, records and diaries of the BKmL occured in the 17th - 19th centuries, then folows with the publications of newspapers and specialized magazines on this topic reckoned to be worth for the notice of the early chronicles. It is worth learning about the weater of the earlier times, especially because it is a part of the history of Kecskemét and its surroundings and they have influenced the society, commercial and economic life of the city. The regular, technical measurements of the meteorology are made since 1901 in Kecskemét (the width of snow is only measured since 1921). That means, in the 20th century the processed data of meteorology help orientation. This study also contains the news of the records and newspapers about this topic. The 70 pictures inform about the 70 winters between 1921/221990/91 in relation of the day to day change of the snow width and the temperature. The picture number 71, however, tells the general figure of the minimum temperature change day to day in the period between 1st November and 31st March, as well as it represents us the relative occurance of the snow bed of 1, 10 and 20 cms or above.
