The Escutcheon of Pest, free royal town Within the pentagonal, azure escutcheon there is a reel tiled, two-windowed donjon, its strong wall and bastions laid from rectangular rocks, the lattice of its unleaved gate lifted. The escutcheon is girdled by a cornucopia, winding upwards on both sides, displaying flowers inside, and is supported by two golden griffins, their hind legs depicted with cloven hoofs, their front legs with claws.
