The Escutcheon of Budapest, 1930 "The colour of the escutcheon of the capital town is red. The escutcheon is horizontally divided in the middle by a silver fesse; in the upper field there is a single-towered, golden coloured castle floating, in the lower field there is a three-towered, golden coloured castle standing on a green meadow. The single-towered castle displays one gate, the three-towered castle two gates. The background against all three gates is red.
