ahol az ekkor menekülttáborként működő Hôtel Esplanade-ban éltek hónapokon keresztül. Először Gádor Ida, Bruck Ágnes, Robinson Baruch és Diamant Emánuel távozott innen, miután Csehszlovákia szervezetten hazaszállította saját állampolgárait. Prágába mentek, ahonnan Bruck Ágnes és Robinson Baruch Palesztinába emigrált. Gádor László és Donáth Blanka Caux után két hónapot még Genfben töltött, majd onnan utaztak haza Budapestre 1945 augusztus elején. Korábbi újpesti lakhelyükre nem tértek vissza, hanem I. kerületi, Attila úti lakosok lettek. Hazatérésük után pályájuk törés nélkül folytatódott. Gádor László továbbra is a Ganz alkalmazásában állt, innen került a Magyar Tudományos Akadémiára 1949-ben, ahol a Villamosipari Kutatóintézet tudományos munkatársa volt egészen 1974-ig. Itteni állását csak az a néhány év szakította meg, amikor 1951-1954 között a Kohó- és Gépipari Minisztérium csoportvezető főmérnöki posztját töltötte be, illetve ezzel párhuzamosan a Gazdasági és Műszaki Akadémián tanított. 1974-től a Műszaki Fejlesztési Bizottság megbízott munkatársa lett, s egyúttal a Műszaki Élet című lap szerkesztőbizottsági tagja. Donáth Blanka 1946-ben szerezte meg diplomáját, ezt követően életét a nevelés és a pszichológia öszszefüggései vizsgálatának szentelte. 1947-1951 között a Fővárosi Pályaválasztási Tanácsadó tudományos munkatársa volt, miközben magánpraxisában, ameddig lehetett, egyéni pszichoterápiát is végzett a Szondi-módszerrel. A pályaválasztási tanácsadótól saját kérésére az Állami Gyermeklélektani Intézetbe került 1951-ben, s itt, illetve jogutódjában, az MTA Pszichológiai Intézetében dolgozott 1976-ig, nyugdíjba vonulásáig. Tudományos állása mellett az ELTÉ-n megbízott előadóként tanított. 1974-1975-ben a IX. kerületi Nevelési Tanácsadó helyettes vezetője volt. cember, where they stayed for some months at Hôtel Esplanade, then a refugee camp. First, Ida Gádor, Ágnes Bruck, Baruch Robinson and Emánuel Diamant left when Czechoslovakia organized the repatriation of its own citizens. They went to Prague from where Ágnes Bruck and Baruch Robinson emigrated to Palestine. László Gádor and Blanka Donáth spent two months in Geneva after Caux and then returned home to Budapest in early August 1945. They did not return to their former place of residence in Újpest, but became residents of Attila Street in District I. After their return home, their careers continued without break. László Gádor continued to work for Ganz, from where he moved to the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 1949, becoming a research fellow at the Electrical Engineering Research Institute until 1974. His position there was interrupted for only a few years when he held the position of Group Chief Engineer at the Ministry of Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering between 1951 and 1954 and, at the same time, taught at the Academy of Economics and Technology. From 1974, he became a Fellow of the Technical Development Committee and a member of the editorial board of ‘Technical Life' magazine. Blanka Donáth graduated in 1946 and subsequently devoted her life to studying the links between education and psychology. Between 1947 and 1951, she was a research fellow at the Metropolitan Career Guidance Service while, in her private practice, she also conducted individual psychotherapy with the Szondi method as extensively as she could. In 1951, at her own request, she moved from the career guidance service to the State Institute of Paediatric Psychology, and worked there, and at its legal successor, the Institute of Psychology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences until her retirement in 1976. In addition to her scientific position, she also taught at ELTE as contracted lecturer. In the years 1974-1975 she was the deputy leader of the District IX Education Counselling Service.
