Az American Joint Distribution Committee svájci képviselője, Saly Mayer levele többek között Bambergerék menekülttáborból való szabadon bocsátása ügyében. A család 1944 végén, 1945 elején elhagyhatta a tábort,

és Genfbe költözött.

A zsidó menekülteket segítő szervezet kérdőíveit Svájcba érkezésük után, 1944. augusztus 25-én töltötték ki. Mindhárman megemlítik a Stern Samuval való

rokonságot.

Letter from Saly Mayer, Swiss spokesman for the American Joint Distribution Committee, on, among other things, the release of the Bambergers from the refugee camp. The family left the camp at the end of 1944 beginning of 1945, and moved to Geneva.

They completed the questionnaires of the Jewish Refugee Aid Organisation on 25 August 1944, after arriving in Switzerland. All three mention their relationship to Samuel Stern.
