‘In the short span of two years, the refreshing and fertile atmosphere of the sketching studio selected the few members of our small community - even though most of it was made up of students for whom architecture meant nothing else but a safe, or at least safer than average, career prospect - who were destined for performing some kind of higher artistic activity by their sheer talent in architecture. From our year, there were the three of us: Dezső Zrumeczky, Dénes Györgyi and myself.

Due to its similar composition and circumstances, the years immediately before and after our own also singled out a handful of talents each. The former Lajos Kozma, Béla Jánszky, Loránd Lechner and Lajos Tátrai, while the latter Valér Mende and József Bábolnai!k0S I991:51
