1945-1950. The new administrative unit included the nearby settlements and colonies (Hejőcsaba, Martintelep, Diósgyőr, Pereces, Szirma, Tapolca, Lillafüred etc.) This way the area of Miskolc has grown to the quadruple, the number of inhabitants with more than 30.000 people. That is, the people living in so called Miskolc were not born Miskolcians. Every second resident was any thing but a local patriot, not attached to the town at all. And unfortunately this in true for the present, too.
