Ódor Imre: Az első népképviseleti országgyűlés baranyai követei

REPRESENTATIVES OF BARANYA COUNTY OF THE FIRST PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS I. Ódor The independent Government of Hungary gave a new constitution to the nation step by step. It was exceptional that the revolutionary changes were achieved with legal measures through parliamentary decisions and royal assents. The 4th and 5th articles of 1848, which combined old and new structures, created the structure and working of the new parliament. This paper, as part of a national project, describes the biography of the representatives of the first parliamentary elections from Baranya county. After collecting all archival data of local and national collections, it can be stated that these careers can be hardly reconstructed, such as in other counties. Unfortunately apart from Mihály Táncsics (best known representative of the county) and Pál Aidinger of Pécs, only a few facts are known about the others (Pál Angyal, Ede Barthos, Ignác Bence, Imre Hegedűs, József Madarász, Vince Perczel). The collection of the known fragments of their lives aims to keep their memory alive.
