Tel: BR 9-6220 Dear Members: This past Wenesday, March 17, 1965, members i of the Finance Committe met at 6:15 PM and made the Quarterly Audit of the books and accounts of the Society These good members spent many hours of their time examining each entry and transaction before signing that they were satisfied with the books and account. It is to our credit that the Society has such fine workers who are willing to spend their time and many times money to see that the Society is run in the correct manner. After the examination of the books, cakes and coffee were enjoyed by all those present as is usual. It is our jjleasure to report that Roy Neuger, son of Sister Irene Néu­­ger passed his examination for his becoming a C. P. A, on the first try, with very high marks, combined with his being in the Army and not having time to stu­dy. We all congratulate Roy and his mother for this outstanding achievment. Double congratulati­ons to Sister Irene Neuger on her birthday this month. We have regards to all the mem­bers from Bro & Mrs. Isidore Schwartz in Miami Beach and from Sister Bertha Lazarouies also in Miami. Happy to report that Bro Irving, Speiser is on the road to recovery after a long bout with illness. He lives at 251 West 89th Street in New York. Sorry to re­port that Hon. Chairlady Irma Fried tripped and hurt herself when she fell and that Sis. Lilli­an Benjamin’s husband is not feeling well, along with the Other members on the sick list. Please remember the card party on Ap­ril 3rd, 1965. Bro Nathan Burger gave a very nice donation to the Social Workers as a starter. Won’t you please send a donation now. — Some of the members are deli­­quent with their dues for 1965. Suspension notices are going out to them next week. Our President and the Entertain­ment Committee were pleased at the good attendance there, and we hop to have the same response at future gatherings. Our Entertainment Chairman, Mr. Irving ERNEY, really worked hard these past few weeks to plan and make this party a success. Everithing was well organized, and he deserves a lot of credit for all his efforts. We were happy to see our mem bers and friends enjoying cards or bing,o, A special note of thanks to our Entertainment Chairlady, Mrs. Irene GROSSMAN for her lovely prizes for the bingo games Mr. Irving ERNEY wants to give special thanks for the well­­handled serving of refreshments se Farkas, Mrs. Elizabeth Hers­kovits, and hfs wife, Mrs. Sylvia Erney. They really helped make this affair more enjoyable.
