In fact, several fables seem to be portrayed on the seat as well, which today is severely worn, as a variety of animals are depicted: lion, goat, frogs and bull (perhaps drawn from ‘The Two Bulls and the Frog’ [Les deux tau- reaux et la grenouille II/4] or ‘The Frog That Wished to Be as Big as the Ox’ [La grenouille qui se veut faire aussi grosse que le boeuf 1/3]).
