15. Detail of Dutch lace from the textile collection ground is a torchon ground of squares. On the breast part the buttons with enamel and rubies are accentuated by gold embroidery with coral beads on the lace. On the sleeves the acorn-shaped buttons are integrated in the overall ornamentation. The coat fabric is a greenish yellow silk cloth interwoven with gold and silver threads. The floral motifs of the cloth and the lace are similar. Mitre The only ecclesiastical piece of clothing in the collection is a mitre 3 8 from the third quarter of the 17th century, (fig. 16) Similarly to the coats, the ground fabric is an Italian floral silk cloth interwoven with metal threads. The central motif of the mitre is a pomegranate with a wavy edge surrounded by a lace insertion of a torchon 16. Lace of mitre 67
