Buffet Over the three doors of the body, standing on an arched stand, three drawers; on the back of the cover-plate a pediment of five arches, in the middle one a cabinet o two doors, on the flanking ones a rich inlaid decoration with the inscription MUSICA, AMOR, VINUM, SOMNUS, the signet B(udapesti) M(űhely), K(ozma L(ajos) A(nno) D(omini) 1919 is inserted into the decoration. H: 150 cm, W: 205 cm, D. 70 cm 2. Small buffet The low buffet of two doors stands on a curved cut base; signed using a metal signet „B Budapesti Műhely M" H: 87 cm, W: 129 cm. D: 48 cm 3. Glass Cabinet Standing on a curved cut base, it has on the frontal side two latticed, circular ended glass doors; the closing, double-arched cover shelf is adorned with a carved, pierced-work crest. Signed with a metal signet. H: 193 cm W: 129 cm, D: 48 cm 4. Table Standing on four turned and carved bal­luster feet with an X-shaped connecting board it has a square slab which can be enlarged threefold by two supplementary slabs. H. 78 cm, slabs: 122 x 144 cm 5. Backed Chairs, 8 pes Standing on four prismatic legs, they have trapezoid seats with edges of an articulated decoration; on their detachable seat the striped cloth upholstery is of a later period; the back ends in turned spheres, on the upper horizon­tal connecting board the letters A D appear, on the lower one the date 1919. Signed using a metal signet. H. 95 cm, W: 45 cm, D: 55 cm 6. Armchairs, 2 pes Variant of the backed chair, of the same built, supplied by arched arm-rests. Signed using a metal signet. H: 95 cm, W: 51 cm, D: 55 cm Purchased from the Bizományi Áruház Vállalat, Budapest, 1992. Inv. Nr.: 92.147.1-14. 7. Armchair („Tubulär Chair" ) Design: Marcel Breuer, Dessau, around 1928; execution: Thonet Brothers, Vienna, around 1935 Steel tube, chromium-plated, with black, lacquered wooden arm-stands; the green canvas seat and back are later additions. Legs and arm-rests are from side face bent in U-form from one piece of tube; seat and back are of canvas sheet, stretched between parallel elements also of a bent tube, which adjoins the leg at a right angle; the tubes are arched at the back and are braced: It be­longed to the furnishings of the Budapest exhibition room, opened in 1936, of the tex­tile designer Éva Szabó. Paint and chromium plating worn. H. 78 cm, W: 60 cm, D: 60 cm Purchased from the textile artist Éva Sza­bó, Budapest, 1993. Inv. Nr.: 93.104.1. (Ferenc Batári) KISGYŰJTEMÉNYEK OSZTÁLYA 8. Szent György harca a sárkánnyal Kollázs Magyarország (?), XVIII. század közepe 33,8 x 26,4 cm (Kerettel) Akvarellel festett szövet és papír részletek­ből összeállított kompozíció, a kollázs alapja furnérlemezre ragasztott papír. A jelenet rész­letgazdag, igényes kidolgozása, valamint több egyező motívum és technikai megoldás ro­konítja e darabot egy 1753/54-re datált, a Jó Pásztort ábrázoló kollázzsal, amely Szendrei Gábor budapesti magángyűjteményében talál­ható, vö: Devóció és Dekoráció. 18. és 19.
