S.26-38. The sizes of the tapestry published in this essay are similar to those mentioned by Mednyánszky. The 642 forint price is also proportionate to the one cited by Mrs H. Baranyai: in the Bethlen accountancy book there was an item in 1620, where 585 forints were paid for 9 Flanders tapestries. 12 AFR fasc.21. No.6327. Tapestries from the Netherlands are also mentioned among the belongings of Ferenc Rákóczi II, see Thaly, Kálmán: Munkácsi leltárak és udvartartási iratok (Inventories and Court Documents from Munkács) 1680-1701, in: Történelmi Tár (Historical Magazine 1900 pp.358-360 XXIV): The furniture of the apartment of Princess Rákóczi in Sárospatak Castle, on November 12, 1700: In the outer room, which was equipped with red velvet draperies: " 6 Blad grienne Niederlenderische Spalier". However, there is no reference in this statement whether the apartment was in the Sárospatak Castle and none of the rooms mentioned in the list of July 18-29, 1701 may be identified with the above.
