Weft: wool, Z, red, in two rows, with "lazy lines" on two sides at the top. The original ends has not survived; self-edges: 4 cords on 4 x 2 warps, wool, 2Z, red. After the inner double chain the weft appears on the surface and returns again after the row of knots, creating a red line on the sides that resembles a line of stitches. Knotting: wool, Z2, colours: two shades of red, ivory, three shades of blue, brown (altogether 7 colours). Dye used: red: Rubia tinctorum L; blue: indigo, probaly an essence of the local Isatis tinctoria; greenish blue: indigo + Reseda Luteola L. or Salvia triloba (the colourings were analysed by dr. Agnes Tímárné Balázsy). Knots: symmetrical ("gördes" knots), approx. 29/10 cm horizontally and 39/10 cm vertically, altogether approx. 1092/dm 2 . Condition: worn, brown knots erroded. Ca. in 40 cm width rewoven at the top left in the outer border; ca. 30 cm long rewoven at the bottom right in the outer borderi; ca in 30 with rewoven at the right bottom corner, in a triangle shape. 10 Inv.No.: 14785; size: 154 cm x 220 cm; Technique: knotted; Warp: wool, Z2S, ivory, on a higher level at the right. Weft: wool, Z, terracotta, in two rows. Ends: 21 cm long kilim at the bottom, 22 cm long at the top. Self-edges on sides: 8 cords on 8 x 2 warps, wool 2Z, terracotta. Knotting: wool, 2Z, colours: three shades of blue, red, ochre, white, brownish black (altogether 7 colours). Dye used: red: Rubia tinctorum L.; blue: indigo (from Isatis tinctoria?). Knots: symmetrical ("gördes") knots, approx. 22/10 cm horizontally, approx. 27/10 cm vertically, altogether approx. 940/dm 2 . Condition: fair, with ends repaired.
