Janny Gyula, a budapesti volt Vöröskereszt Kórház (ma Sport Kórház) első igazgatója feleségének, Zlamál Gizellának (szül. Pest, 1852, + Budapest, 1944, házasodott: Budapest, 1874) hozományához tartozott. A szekrényekben több mint 100 évig tárolt fehérneműk jelentős része a textilosztályunk gyűjteményébe került. Bedroom suite Lingel factory, Budapest, c. 1930 Mahogany veneer, with chrome metal parts Cupboard with two doors (2 pieces) Height: 130 cm, Length: 124 cm, Width: 200 cm Each stands on a horizontal base, with rounded corners; rimmed horizontal top corniches. Decorated with intarsia on the inside of the plain doors; marked: LINGEL. Two beds Height: 130 cm, Length: 124 cm, Width: 200 cm, semi-cylindrical side tables, compartments over the head; plain side pieces, curved foot. Wall mirror 53 x 139 cm An upright rectangle in shape, with rounded corners; at the bottom a horizontal edge and at the top indented from left to right. Table cupboard Height: 75 cm, Length: 53 cm, Width: 53 cm Purchased from the BÁV secondhand furniture company A cube-shaped body which can be turned on the central column that stands on a round foot. There are drawers on one side, while the other closes with a sliding glass plate. The other sides are plain. (A complementary piece not included in the suite.) Inv. Nos. 90. 17. 1—7 2. Table Designed by Josef Hoffmann, Vienna; made by Thonet, Vienna, c. 1906 Height: 74 cm, Diameter: 60 cm Beech, bent, with turned parts and partly hammered copper veneer. The round base with sheet copper edges stands on four buntype supports; the round surface is supported by 4 x 2 column legs; the double legs are articulated and decorated with a characteristic egg-motif at the bottom and at the top. The damaged surface is marked with a paper label on the reverse: THONET Purchased from the BAV secondhand furniture company, Budapest. Inv. No. 90. 18. 1 3. Cupboard with two doors (two pieces) Pest, around 1860 Pine and oak, veneered with walnut and walnut root. Carved parts, turned feet. Each cupboard stands on four bun-type feet; the horizontal bottom cornice is slightly jointed. The tops of the doors are curved; they are framed by standing rectangles with curved tops. Plain sides; the curved, protruding crest is decorated with a carved rosette. The cupboards belonged to Gizella Zlamál (1852—1914), the grandmother of its last owner. (Gizella Zalmál
