In the middle of the face there is an inscription in italics : "Jacob Pachner in Alt Aradt". Two hands are intact, the calendar hand is missing. In the bottom of the wooden pedestal is a clock-work mechanism producing music. This is capable of playing two tunes and works on the cylinder principle. Bequeathed by Jenő Lévai. Inv. No. 89.623 20. Bracket clock, wood, bone, copper Hungarian, 2nd half of the 18th century, mechanism by Joseph Bauer, Debrecen H. 25.5 cm, 1. 11.2 cm, b. 17.5 cm The dark-stained wooden case stands on scroll-shaped feet turned from bone. In the two corners above the glass door are pierced copper plates with engraved ornamentation set against a background of metal foil. On the back of the case a glass door reveals the mechanism. The case is curved in shape. From the top the typical torch-like ornament and the handle are missing. The mechanism, of spindle type, strikes the hour. In the corners of the yellow brass face supplied with engraved patterns and Roman numerals there are various decorations. Above them in the middle a convex yellow brass plate bears an inscription engraved in italics: "Joseph Bauer Debretzin". Bequeathed by Jenő Lévai. Inv. No. 89.624 21. Electric clock in Boulle style, tortoise shell, copper, gilded bronze, French, beginning of the 20th century H. 36.5 cm, 1. 10.8 cm, b. 19.7 cm On four gilded bronze feet stands the curved case which is slightly larger at the bottom and under the upper, top, part. The surface between the large masked studding in the middle of the lower part of the case and the face of the clock is framed with studs supplied in the form of a string of beads in which the mechanism is covered by a glass pane painted black. The arched line above the face is also highlighted with studs. On the top of the upper part, which is depicted as roofing, is mounted a small flower-filled vase made of cast gilded bronze. The mechanism is supplied with electromagnetic control and works on a battery. On the mechanism, next to the factory mark is the inscription stamped in capitals: "BULLE CLOCK FRANCE". On the face supplied with ornaments in relief in the middle are Roman numerals mounted on enamel shields painted blue against a white background. Bequeathed by Jenő Lévai. Inv. No. 89.625 22. Lamp-shaped clock, gilded bronze French, 2nd half of the 19th century H. 37.8 cm, 1. 12.4 cm, b. 28.4 cm The case is bronze, partly gilded. A thin stalk starting from a round base part mounted on an almond-shaped pediment, which stands on four scroll-shaped feet, supports the lamp-shaped case of the clock-from the end of which gilded bronze flames are burning. The handle has been replaced by a gilded bronze female bust clad in antique attire. In her right hand is an oil jug while in her left hand she holds an arrow. In the case of the clock there is a mechanism which has been altered. The notched structure striking half-hours is supplied with a cylinder-type device rendering the pendulum superfluous. On its enamel white face Roman numerals and an inscription in capital letters are to be found: "CHARLES DUPONT CHAUX DE FONDS". The clock case is of alloy and was made later, and follows the design of an early 19th century piece. The prototype is represented by clock No. 59525 in the clock collection. Bequeathed by Jenő Lévai. Inv. No. 23. Károly Csányi, portrait in bronze, on a red marble pedestal
