The Art Nouveau Glassware Collection of the Museum of Applied Arts The collection of the museum contains 260 objects, all of these pieces were manu­factured or fabricated between 1890 and 1920. (The only exceptions are the works of Leó Pantocsek, which were executed c. 1870 and are among the most prominent art glasses of the early special Hungarian Art Nouveau glass art, showing the motifs of historism.) The collection was founded already at the turn of the century. Jenő Radisics — realizing the importance of the Art Nouveau glass art — organized an exhibi­tion of Tiffany's works and the museum made the first purchases of that exhibited 117
