ANATOMICAL VARIATIONS, ABNORMALITIES In the Tiszalök population examined here anatomic variations or abnormalities can be seen in several cases. A partial or whole sutura metopica occured in 1 female (grave 2.), 2 males (graves 51. and 97.) and in 2 juveniles (graves 61. and 93.). Ossa wormiana can be seen in 11 cases, on the female skulls of grave 15«, 37. and 47., on the male skulls of grave 7., 22., 27., 38., 44., 46. and 51. f and on the infants II. skull of grave 6l . Os apicis occured in 2 females (graves 2. and 47.), and in 1 juvenile (grave 16.). On the male skull of grave 7. os incae can be found - this is a rather rare abnormality. Examining the population of Oroszvár BOTTYÁN (1972) says that ossa wormiana can be found mostly on females. In present population the opposite is the case. Left side os epiptericum can be seen on the male skull of grave 90
