while by the breadth-height index metriocrany is characteristic as regards mean value and the per cent distribution reveals a preponderant metriocrany and acrocrany. With respect to the per cent distribution and mean value of the transversal - frontoparietal index, eurymetopy is characteristic in both cases. The face is moderately wide, moderately high, mesoprosopic ; the upper face moderately high, mesen. The orbita are hypsiconch, and with respect to the distribution of the index groups mesoconch; the nose is chamaerrhinous both as to mean value and group frequency .The males are characterizable by a great medium stature. The skull of the females is long, moderately wide, and by the cranial index the mean value often shows a mesocranial character; by the frequency of the cranial index dolichocrany is represented in the greatest percentage. The brain case is high, by the length-height index the mean value shows orthocrany, and the per cent distribution reveals a preponderant orthocrany, while by the breadth-height index metriocrany is characterise tic as regards mean value and the per cent distribution reveals a preponderant acrocrany. An regards the mean value and group frequency of the transversal-frontoparietal index, eurymetopy is characteristic. The face is moderately wide, moderately high, and mesoprosopic by the facial index and the index groups; the upper face is moderately high, mesen. The orbita are hypsiconch, the nose mesorrhinous , while according to the per cent distribution, chamaerrhiny shows the majority proportion. The stature of the females is medium. The author discusses separately the problems of sexual dimorphism and the intersexual differences. According to his observations , there are certain differences extant between the sexes. The brain case of the males is narrow and moderately high by the mean values of the absolute measurements, whereas that of the females is moderately wide and high; it was observed also in the distribution of the measurement categories that the narrow skull is principally characteristic of the males, whereas the narrow and the moderately wide categories occur in equal proportions in the females. There is a difference also in the
