medium wide nose (mesorrhinian) occurring in three cases only. The orbita are high (hypsiconchous) and medium high (mesocon­chous). The facial angles are orthognathous ; an alveolary pro­gnathism occurs in one case only (Grave 2). The homogeneity of all these secondary characteristics refer to the homogeneity of the material, and the character of the features to the gracile Mediterrenean type, with few exceptions. This latter finding is not modified by the one or two characteristics indicating the North Atlantic type, since the male and female characteristics are in their great majority in complete agreement; the indivi­dual numbers being small, the sexual dimorphism is practically uninve st ig able .
