Grave 10. According to the respective index, the right humerus is more massive than the left one, indicating a strong physical work in this male of a mature age. Femora strongly curved, only the right one measurable. Pilaster index: 103, indicating a slight muscular attachment. Plat also according to the value of the platymer index. Stature according to Wolanski' s nomogram 169 cm, great medium; according to Breitinger's nomogram, the value is slightly higher: 174 cm. Grave 18. Female, juvenile; owing to the ossified state of the epiphyses, the long bones permit measuring. Only the femora and tibiae aj évaluable. Pilaster index of the femora medium: 113 and 117j the right one is stronger than the left. Tibiae euryenemi rounded. Stature 154 cm, (Wolanski) or 155 cm (Bach). Grave 19. Male, adult. Of the fragmentary long bones, only the tibiae arc assessable. Right tibia considerably stronger, and also stron­ger, then the left one. Cnemical indices: rounded (eurycnemic ). Stature: 175 cm, high (Wolanski), 178 cm (Breitinger ). Grave 31» Male, adult. Left humerus indicating a medium robustness, right one not évaluable. Left femur also slightly stronger than the right one. According to the platymerous index, wholly flat, no pilaster present, hence the bones were not muscular but rather gracile. Tibiae medium strong (mesocnemic ). Stature: 160 cm (Wolanski), small medium; or 163 cm (Breitinger ).
