Mongoloidé component in the females. Among the Europoids, one can find gracileMediterranean, and Europo-brachycranial characters. Among the Europo-Mongoloids, one can observe the character-complexes of the Pamiro-Turauids , and among the Mongoloids that of the low-faced form and the Inner-Asiatic type. It should be noted in this connection that, while there occur Europoids in the Avar Period material dated to the VI century and the first half of the VII century, there are Mongoloids among the finds originating from the later phase, namely the second half of the VII th century and the VIII th century, the same as in the materials of Kecel I., and Budapest-People's Stadium /LIPTAK, 1954, 1963/. 4. The material available is extremely small, henoe no far-reaching conclusions can be drawn. The problem of ethnic relegation cannot be solved.
