REFORMÁTUSOK LAPJA 7 Christian churches, we share the impatience of many Christians who feel that it is desirable, as soon as possible, to get beyond this kind of discussion and to work for more substantive goals.” There has been an initial printing of 6,000 copies of the report together with supplementary background material. Approximately half of the printing will be circulated within the Roman Catholic Church, with the other half reaching the member churches of the National Council. A Catholic spokesman predicted that the “process of disseminating the report and obtaining responses and recommendations” would take at least one year. Next December the General Assembly of the National Council of Churches is scheduled to act on plans for reorganizing the council, culminating a restructuring process that has been underway for the past two years. Catholic decision-makers will doubtless wish also to study the council further in the light of the reorganization plans. —F C ■---------------» »»----------------------MEMBERSHIP OF THE 14 LARGEST U.S.A.
