14 REFORMÁTUSOK LAPJA (féenevolence to the tune of “I’m Called Little Buttercup” They call it Benevolence, Christian Benevolence. I give a quarter a week. My basic philosophy is generosity, I think my giving’s unique. I’ve given apparel to put in the barrel, I’ve given my watch that won’t wind, And shoes that aren’t mated, I freely donated; I feel philanthropic and kind. I’ve always been speedy to help with the needy, I’m willing to spare no expense. Since help is essential, I’m so penitential, Next year I may give thirty cents. And so to Benevolence, Christian Benevolence, I will continue to give My husband’s old undershirts, All my old miniskirts; How I love helping folks live! Thanks to Rev.
