REFORMÁTUSOK LAPJA 15 of the highpoints. Thursday night we had the “talent show”, which featured each cabin one by one. The skits ranged from a whipped cream pie fight to imitations of camp personalities, with greater talent than you can imagine. As the week drew to a close Friday morning, the Rev. Arpad George, President of Magyar Synod, spoke to us about our duties and opportunities as Hungarian Reformed young people in the U. S. A. President George remained with us for the rest of the day. Friday night, the last night together, total silence was the camp rule. We gathered around a camp fire, where the synodical youth director spoke about being dedicated to Jesus Christ. Then we proceeded in silence single file to the chapel for the Lord’s Supper. Next morning, as the cars were leaving the conference grounds going in all directions with our 113 campers, we knew that through God’s grace many young lives have had a deeper experience of the living Christ. For this the glory and the credit belong not to man, but to the sovereign God.
