A digital photograph (image) must be submitted for each person listed on an Application. This image must be in the Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) File Interchange Format (JFIF) format. If the Image is created by using a digital camera, it must have a resolution of 320 by 240 pixels, with either 24-blts of color, 8-blts of color or 8-blts of gray. If the Image Is created by scanning a photographic print the original print must have been 2" by 2'' (50mm x 50mm), and the scan must be performed at a resolution of 150 dots per inch (dpi); the image must have a resolution of 300 by 300 pixels, with either 24-bits of color, 8-blts of color or 8-bits ! of gray. The image can not exceed 62,500 bytes (62.5KB) in size. Monochrome Images (2-bits of color) will not be accepted. Please refer to the DV2005 Instructions for the pose and background requirements for all photographs.

Mint már olyan sokszor leírtuk, idéntől a zöldkártyalottóra csakis online (azaz interneten keresztül) lehet jelentkezni, a Híd vállalja a jelentkezők adatainak beküldését, de azoknak, akik mégsem akarnák a Hídon keresztül benyújtani adataikat, megpróbáljuk elmagyarázni a jelentkezés metódusdt. Múlt számunkban a fotó minőségi ellenőrzésének módszerét mutattuk be — most pedig maga a jelentkezési ív számítógépes kitöltése van soron. Gépelje be tehát böngészőjébe: www.dvlottery.state.gov!

Az említett honlap első oldala a múlt héten már megismert oldal, azzal a különbséggel, hogy most nem a Photo Validator, hanem a Begin standard Application linkre kell kattintanunk. Ekkor beugrika

2. oldal, amely tulajdonképpen maga az űrlap, ugyanazzal a tartalommal, mint a Híd következő oldalán található papírforma. Következetesen végig kell menni az űrlap kockáin, és ki kell azokat tölteni, majd az oldal alján levő Continue gombra kell kattintani. Az oldalon az adatok beadásakor a következő elemeket kell ugyanakkor figyelembe venni:

2a kijelölő doboz (Ids kocka). Ha a kijelölő dobozra klikkelünk, akkor érvényesnek veszi a mellette levő üzenetet. A nyomtatvány kéri például a jelentkező középső nevét. A “No middle name” melletti kocka bejelölésével azt az utasítást adjuk, hogy nem rendelkezünk ilyesmivel.

2b. Lehúzható menü. Csak a formanyomtatvány által megadott válaszlehetőségekből választhatunk.

2c kiválasztó doboz (ltis karika). Általában két vagy több lehetőség közüli választás esetén kell használni, a megfelelő opció melletti karikára kattintsunk

2d. A Browse-ra kattintva van lehetőségünk külső állományokat (itt például a fotót) betölteni. fontos: a múlt számban magyarázott Photo Validatorral csupán a fotó minőségét teszteltük a fotót most, az űrlap kitöltésekor kell feltöltenünk!

A nyomtatvány alján levő Continue gombra kattintva két dolog történhet Amennyiben a

3. ablak, vagy ahhoz hasonló jön be, azt jelenti, valamelyik adatot elfelejtettük beírni. Az oldal piros betűvel jelzi a hiányzó adatokat. Töltsük Id a hiányokat, és nyomjunk újra Continue-t! Ha pedig a

4. oldal ugrik be, ez azt jelenti, minden igényelt adatot leadtunk Egy, saját adatainkkal kitöltött nyomtatvány jelenik meg, amit nem árt újraellenőrizni, és utána továbbmenni. Amennyiben hibát látunk a nyomtatványban, a rendszer ajánlását követve ne a böngésző Back gombjával menjünk viszszafele, hanem használjuk a nyomtatvány által felajánlott segítség-gombot. (“Go back to part 1.”) Amennyiben pedig a végső nyomtatvány helyesnek tűnik, továbbmenet esetén megjelenik a

5. oldal, amelyen sikerüzetetet ír Id a képernyő: “Success!” A bejelentkezés megvalósult.

A sikerhez mi is dóré gratulálunk Ne felejtse! Egy névre csupán egy nyomtatványt lehet kitölteni! Amennyiben a bemutatott jelentkezési metódus túlságosan bonyolultnak tűnik, vegye fel a Híddal a kapcsolatot—szívesen segítünk.
