Horváth László: Kelta temető leletmentése Miklósfán
The territory of Zala County was fully occupied by the Celts in the early LT/C period, similarly to the southern half of Transdanubia-' 1 The majority of their cemeteries can be found in the southern part of the County, but finds are available also from the northern part. Our finds are fully identical with those found at other locations of Transdanubia, but differ altogether from the finds in the adjacent territories of Yugoslavia. 25 We consequently may assume that the rivers Mura and Dráva may have served as tribal boundaries as well. A systematic research of the places of occurrence of the Late Iron Age was started in the territory of Zala County in recent years; the cemetery of Magyarszerdahely was opened up within the scope of this project. We shall begin opening up the settlements in addition to the cemeteries, this way in a few years the Late Iron Age history of this region might take shape.
