June 16, 1965. Page 11 William Penn City Councilman Paul S. San'slo, councilman of the city of Cleveland, Ohio, has become a member of Cleve­land Branch 14. Councilman Sanislo was ap­pointed to his prsesent term on June 8, 1964 and is now serving on the Legislative Body on Real Property, Public Development and Service. His ward consists of 25,000 res­idents. He attended Cleveland schools and is a 1961 graduate of Marshall Law School in Cleveland. He was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1962 and Joins Branch 14 began his law practice the same year. He is an associate of Reigler, Spohn & Sanislo, 14310 Euclid Ave., Cleveland. Formerly he was employed at the Park Di’op Forge Company as Safety Director and Em­ployment Manager. Active in various Hungarian affairs, Councilman Sanislo is a member of the Hungarian Business & Tradesmen’s Club, St. Stephen’s Dramatic Club, Kiwanis, and the American Legion. He is a member of St. Benedict’s Church and serves as a trustee cf the parish. Currently he is being tutored in the Hungarian language so that he will be able to com­municate better with the Hun­garian people of the area. The new member of Branch 14 is married and has one child, Susan, age 8. Branch 14 welcomes Coun­cilman Paul S. Sanislo into its ranks and wishes him well in his services to ccmmunity, church, and now Branch 14 of the William Penn Fraternal Association. — BERNADETTE G. BALLA Reporter Winner of European Trip This lucky young man, John Alan Kertay, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kertay, Sr., of Smithfield, Ohio, recently won a local newspaper con­test which entitled him to a two weeks vacation in the sun-filled clime of Spain and Portugal. John left Kennedy Airport by jet in April. He was to meet with Por­tuguese President Admiral Tomas and other dignitaries, and for these notables he took with him gifts from local industries. After his visit •he flew back from Madrid and spent a few days at the World’s Fair be­fore going home. The members of Branch 79, Rhodes­­dale, Ohio, are proud of their young fellow member who has been in the Association since birth. His father manages the branch. Congratulations to you, young John. STAR PERFORMERS OF THE ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM Andrew Vince and Biri Szondi helped make the evening complete and successful. The audience was delighted to hear their many songs, sung in many nationalities. Andrew Vince who was Master of Ceremonies of the entertainment program and Miss Szondi deserve our thanks for their ef­forts to make our evening gay and enjoyable. NEWS FROM NORTHWESTERN OHIO Branch 27 — Toledo Ohio Congratulations to the winners and better liyck next time to the losers. It was fine bowling at Thunderbowl Lanes. Some of the top scores as we re­ceived them were singles by Joe Veres, Frank Veres and Ace Nagy; fine all-events by Andy Zigray and Paul Belegrin. Mary Ivancso and her team were in fourth place un­officially in the team events. Wedding bells at Branch 27: May 8th — Linna Fielder to Robert Felser at the Altar Gate. Reception was held at Toledo Old Timers Hall and the honeymoon in Washington, D. C. Nancy Ann Simpkins and James Fuleky were married May 15 at St. Stephen’s Church Their recep­tion was held at the Edison Club on River Road and their honeymoon in Nassau. Celebrating wedding anniversai'ies over the Memorial Day week end — Yolanda and Bill Krolak, Sue and By Stephen J. Ivancso, Div. Mgr. Ernie Belegrin, Gene and Linna Fiel­der. Sick list — Helen Szollosi, Janice Virág, Emil Belegrin, Elizabeth Ur­­banski and Mrs. Erma Ivancso. Our sympathies to the John Kmeco family on the recent death of Mr. Kmeco. Mary Sue Poes is a happy girl these days. She was one of the se­lected young women from the Uni­versity of Toledo dancing Rockettes to go overseas and perform in Eu­rope.
