October 21 1964 William Penn PAGE 7 WILLIAM PENN BRANCH 21 YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO Bowling! Bowling! How we enjoy bowling at Branch 21! This is the feeling shared by all the bowlers in the Youngstown William Penn Branch 21 Mixed Doubles League. To date we thave 18 teams. Every Sunday scores go up and averages go up, and, to boot, our enjoyment of the sport increases. Practice makes perfect, so it is said. In our case we have new bowlers hitting 242 actual by Frank Lorant (who deserves our admiration). Mike Tomcsak, Steve Sándor and Steve Novak are still up. Sheryl Bunchy, 16 years old, has a high average of 152; Kaye Matyas, 147; Kaye Novak, 160 game; JoAnn Krepcak, 175; and Yours Truly, 163. This is the second week of bowling only. So . . Would you like to have fun like us? Then join us! We bowl every Sunday, 4 p.m., at McGuffey Lanes. For further information get in touch with Mike Tomcsak at SW 9-2764. Even if you do not wish to bowl, you are welcome to come as a spectator cheering us. We enjoy spectators. President Bunchy is with us every Sunday. It is most important, however, that our members attend the branch meetings. They are held the second Tuesday of every month at St. Stephen’s Church, 854 Wilson Ave., beginning promptly at 7:30 p. m. Be a branch meeting attender! Finally, for your insurance needs see or telephone District Manager William E. Koleszar in the Wick Building, downtown.
