KEEP UP YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS! If you carefully observe our WILLIAM PENN you will notice that during the middle of summer it suffers, as it were, a journalistic lag. July, particularly, is the poorest month for our official publication for it is then that we receive the least number of contributions and the shortest reports from our branch publicity agents. Summer of course with its heat, outings, vacations, etc. naturally does have an effect on our official organ. Much of the contents of the William Penn comes from the fine, volunteer efforts of individual and branch-sponsored contributors, who if they do not send in contributions, impair the quality and interest of the WILLIAM PENN. In spite of the aforesaid facts, we urge our branches and reporters not to let our WILLIAM PENN down even for the summer months. There are many activities of membership interest to write about, so let us know about them. You know we like to read your interesting write-ups even in the middle of summer! A NICE GET-TOGETHER Somebody here must have said something funny. Another guess, and perhaps a better one, is that this effervesce was simply the “boiling over” of the fellowship and fraternalism that come of our Tournament-Fellowship Days. Anyway, you see the charming Mrs. Coloman Revesz, wife of our National President, in the middle National Secretary Albert J. Stelkovics, and to the right Director John P. Balia, member of the National Tournament Executive Committee. 14th ANNUAL Wiliam Penn National Ten Pin Tournament MAY 25-26, 1957 DAYTON, OHIO Men Five-Man Handicap Event Prize List Trophy to Winners Team Br.
